Storyline:- Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathan is basically an espionage thriller with a focus on RAW and ISI. Talking about the story of the film, it has nothing new to present to the audience in the spy thriller genre, this type of story has been seen by the audience in many films in the last few years. The story is basically simple where Pathan (Shah Rukh Khan) gathers some underdogs of ISI for a mission to capture Jim (John Abraham) who is a former RAW officer. .As the film progresses, we see that Shah Rukh Khan is accompanied by Ruby (Deepika Padukone), who is from the ISI, and several twists and turns unfold in several moments. what happened next? Will Shah Rukh Khan and RAW succeed in their mission, why did Ruby who is from ISI go with Shah Rukh Khan and what is her motive behind it and why did Jim who worked for India turn against the country? This is what story of Pathaan is about

Direction :-

Siddharth Anand set a precedent with Pathan as a director, giving him an "exciting big screen experience" with Pathan. This is how a commercial entertainer should be made and stay true to the subject .The way Siddharth executes and presents the story on-screen makes the film larger than life, giving its budget and canvas the output and value it deserves. In Siddharth Anand's filmography, this would probably be the film that would rank first, as it delivered on what it promised as a director.

Performances :-

Shah Rukh Khan as Pathan has given a stellar performance, there is no doubt that his charm and swag is intact but he is far ahead in the film in terms of action, emotion and dialogue delivery. In a word, in the film he strips off the mask of superstardom and makes the actor stand in front of him

John Abraham's has delivered finest  performance as Jim , John is  always been  the director's actor and this trait of his is seen in his performance in the film.

Deepika Padukone as Rubi impressed to an extent ,but her role went limited to dance number and body show off in the Film .

Rest of the actors like Ashutosh Rana , Dimple Kapadia and other supporting cast assisted well in the film through their act .

Overall "Pathaan" is a Paisa Vasool Popcorn Entertainer with tremendous repeat value and matches the international standard of film making . The Superstardom of Shah Rukh Khan demands such kind of film only and YRF , Aditya Chopra and Siddharth Anand turned his comeback film into an event film .
