Drishyam 2 Box Office Journey
At a time when many films bombed in their first week, a film called Drishyam 2 came and changed the scenario. The film had a grand opening everywhere and then with each passing day the film kept on rocking and today the film has created history by entering its glorious 50th day and is still going strong at box office. Film ranked 236 cr at Domestic Box Office in it's total 7 week which is definitely humongous.
The film not only changed the business module, but it also changed the mindset and principle of the traders, who were grumbling that remake films would not work at the box office after the pandemic.
A thriller drama that is a remake of a cult classic, ran for 50 days at the box office and is still doing well, definitely deserves praise.
The film broke the myth that only a film with good music and entertainment would work at the box office. In opposite to this Drishyam 2 came as a complete different package film which blasts the Box Office.
The success story of Drishyam 2 and its box office collection should be a case study for every director, producer and writers which will surely help everyone in labeling their movies and marketing those movies. Made with a limited budget, Drishyam 2 turned out to be a bumper lottery for everyone involved, be it producers, co-producers, buyers or cinema owners.
The more we praise the film, the less it is. The film was top-notch in every way, whether it was the performance of the actors, tight direction, whistling dialogues or a thrilling story that would keep you hooked to it.. The film has lived up to all the aspects and expectations. I would like to congratulate the producers (Mr Kumar Mangat Pathak , Mr Aditya Ji Chowksey) , actors (Ajay Devgn, Tabu ,Akshaye Khanna), writers (Aamil Keeyan Khan) of the film and its director (Abhishek Pathak) also the entire team, hard work and dedication of all of them is the result of the film reaching this point today.
